Talbot Sunbeam Rally Car Spec

Following in the steps of the now world famous Lotus Sunbeam, this Talbot Sunbeam Rally car has proven to be a very fast and reliable car. The car has taking part in many rallies over the years. Completely rebuilt many times, it is still very competitive.

Talbot Sunbeam 1600TI– Specification
Class:Class B2
Body:Standard body panels finished in Blue & Yellow. Sump and fuel tank guards. Quick release bonnet clips.
Engine:Longitudinaly mounted 1600 cc Chrysler Talbot. Fitted with twin Weber 40 DCOE carbs, Group A spec cylinder head and cam, competition electric fuel pump & inline pressure regulator.
Interior:Fully striped out, FIA spec. rollcage, Lifeline handheld & plumbed in extinguishers, FIA approved Motordrive seats, 4 point harnesses.
Transmission:RWD with 5 speed G/Box and LSD in rear axle. H/Duty sintered bronze clutch. Lights: Standard lighting plus two auxillary front spotlamps running from its own wiring harness
Suspension: Tarmac spec. shocks & springs all round.
Wheels: Compomotive 6J x 14" controlled alloys
Tyres:Currently fitted with 13" Compomotive alloy wheels and Kumho tyres.
Brakes:Discs all round (vented on front), Mintex c-tech pads all round, F/R bias valve, hydraulic h/brake.
